you will get a flavour of what I do. I am a freelance writer, poet and speaker. My work encompasses leadership, change, and spirituality. Whether speaking to a large gathering, providing training for a small group or offering one-to-one mentoring I try to be engaging, intriguing and encouraging.

Spring at last!
The clocks have changed and the world's best golfers are plotting their way round the azalea fringed perils of Augusta golf course. Even I have been able to play some golf and get into the garden when I am not writing. I love the milestones of the year especially these spring time ones. The last few weeks have included plenty of opportunity to perform poetry in a range of settings. Seeing people interact with poems is very satisfying - different from knowing people are reading them from the page. I draw pleasure from both.
I am looking forward to completing my first novel (Beyond Reasonable Doubt) though there's not been much progress this month. Also looking forward to more poetry performances locally and further afield (Germany in May). There are still dates available if you would like to explore a poetry event in your area.

Best Before featured in parkCulture Magazine
My poem Best Before is featured in the spring edition of parkCulture magazine, a quality magazine that highlights artists, performers, writers and events from along the south coast. Published by Cultura Press it features an article by Matt West aka The Artful Scribe on the long-running debate about the relative merits of poetry read from the page and heard from the stage. Matt includes me as an example of someone who does both. (page 34ff in online edition)
